Wedding workshop Part 1

A few weekends ago, I attended a wedding photography workshop through the BU Center for Digital Imaging Arts (CDIA) and taught by Lara Woolfson of The Studio Nouveau. Lara was beyond generous with her knowledge... the focus of the workshop was on creating a brand but I learned SO much in so many areas. I left feeling totally invigorated and inspired to improve my business.

We did a shoot with Lara's friend Heidi who made a beautiful bride...

Jenica & Spencer ~ Married!

So I just about fell out of my chair at work when Molly Bergeron asked me to second shoot Jenica and Spencer's wedding with her. I was so excited to be part of their day and I learned so much!

Now for the fun stuff... we started off by visiting Spencer and the groomsmen as they got ready at the hotel.




Then we stopped by Jenica's grandmother's house where the girls were getting ready.




I just loved their colors:




The ceremony was on the water in Bristol, RI. The weather looked a bit iffy in the morning but was amazingly gorgeous by the time their ceremony started.
